Clinton Endorses Obama
Yes, it is true – Hillary Clinton has finally conceded defeat and publicly endorsed her rival Barak Obama. I just finished watching her speech on CNBC and it was very good. One thing came out with the commentators after it was over; If Obama is to win against McCain he will have to win over white women voters – especially middle-aged ones.
I think that if Hilary continues to be vocal about her support, and as the time draws closer, there will be a major shifting of this demographic behind Barak. Whether white middle age and older white men can make the shift is another question.
On a side note, one of my favorite broadcasters of the past has died, Jim McKay. I grew up watching “Wide World of Sports” on Saturdays and Jim was my favorite on the program. His coverage on the tragedy in Munich during the Olympics was outstanding. He will be missed.
Till next time, Jim
